Thurs, Jan 03, 2008 9:00 PM ET

The Memphis Tigers play host to the Siena Saints, at the FedEx Forum, for some slammin college basket ball.

The Memphis Tigers recently beat the Arizona Wildcats, 76-63, at home to keep their perfect season intact. Robert Dozier had 18pts on the night while Joey Doresy and Shawn Taggart pulled down 7 REB each. The Tigers offense averages 80 PPG with the majority of them coming from inside the paint. They excel at offensive rebounding pulling down 12 OREB per game. On defense they allow 90 PPG and their great at shutting down their opponents 3-point shooters. They average 23 DREB per game. The go to guy for the Tigers is Chris Douglas-Roberts with 17 PPG and Joey Dorsey leads in rebounds and blocks. The starting five are Robert Dozier, Joey Dorsey, Antonio Anderson, Chris Douglas-Roberts and Derrick Rose. They are perfect at home and they sit on top of the CUSA Standings.

The Siena Saints have seven wins in their last ten games after recently beating the Dartmouth Big Green 89-54 on the road. Tay Fisher was the hottest Saint on the day with 23pts and Ryan Rossiter pulled down 10 REB on the night. The Saints offense is good for 80 PPG with the most of their points coming from the 3-point line and their free throw shooting. Defense is the Saints downfall this year, they allow 75 PPG and they allow their opponents to score from anywhere on the court. The top producer for the Saints is Edwin Ubiles averaging 17 PPG and he leads in blocks. James Carr is a perfect 100% from the free throw line. The starting five are Ryan Rossiter, Edwin Ubiles, Tay Fisher, Ronald Moore and Kenny Hasbrouck. The Saints are currently 1-3 on the road and they sit in 2nd place in the MAAC Standings.

Bottom Line:The Memphis Tigers will still be perfect after they play the Saints. The Tigers have too much offense for the Saints weak defense.

Let’s go Tigers!
