The No. 18 Oregon Ducks will host the Sacramento State Hornet, at the Bank of America Arena, for some college hoop action.

The Oregon Ducks are putting their perfect 4-0 home record on the line when they face the Hornets. The Ducks beat the Utah Utes, 75-64, last game at home. The player of the game was Bryce Taylor with 20pts and Joevan Catron had 7 REB on the day. The Ducks have the 4th ranked PPG averaging 89 PPG and their over 50% when shooting within the 3-point line. They have excellent 3-point shooters and they average 11 ORPG. On defense they give up a league high 75 PPG and their excellent at stopping their opponent’s 3-point shooting. The main man for the Ducks is Malik Hairston with 16 PPG and he leads in blocks and steals. Maarty Leunen leads with 10 RPG.  The starting five last game were Malik Hairston, Joevan Catron, Maarty Leunen, Bryce Taylor and Tajuan Porter. The Ducks are currently 4-0 at home and they sit in 4th place in the Pac-10 Standings.

The Sacramento State Hornet got a surprising win over William Jessup, 72-54 at home, after suffering a five game losing streak. Loren Leath was the top producer on the day with 22pts and 5 REB. They had an amazing day on rebounds with 12 OREB and 30 DREB. The Hornets offense is averaging 67 PPG with the majority of them coming from their 3-point shooters. Their defense is even worse than their offense. They give up an average 75 PPG and they have extreme difficulties stopping their opponents in the paint and at stopping the 3-pointer. The go to guy for the Hornets is Loren Leath with 18 PPG and Justin Williams leads in steals and blocks. The starting five last week were Justin Williams, Justin Eller, Vinnie McGhee Jr., Clark Woods and Loren Leath. The Hornets have not won on the road yet and they sit in 7th place in the Big Sky Standings.
