The Connecticut Huskies will host the No.19 Gonzaga Bulldogs, at the Harry A. Gampel Pavilion, for some college B-Ball.

The Huskies are (1-3 ATS, 2-2 O/U) and the Bulldogs are (5-2 ATS, 3-4 O/U)
The Gonzaga Bulldogs are enjoying back to back wins over the Virginia Tech Hokies, 82-64, and the St.Joseph’s Hawks 70-65 (OT). Against the Hawks the main point producers were David Pendergraft 13pts, Matt Bouldin 16pts and Austin Daye 17pts. As a team they out rebounded the Hawks 13OFF and 29DEF.

The Connecticut Huskies have back to back wins over the Gardner-Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs, 89-72, and most recently Florida A&M Rattlers 93-54. Two players had double doubles on the day. Jeff Adrien had 16pts and 15REB and Hasheem Thabeet had 12pts and 12REB.

The Gonzaga Bulldogs offense is averaging 75PPG with most of them coming from inside the paint. The Bulldogs are the pits at the 3-pointer and they average 10 offensive rebounds per game. Defense is where their games solid. They allow a low 59PPG, they can shut down the 3-pointer and they provide excellent defense in the paint. The starting five are Micah Downs, David Pendergraft, Abdullah Kuso, Jeremy Pargo and Matt Bouldin. The best player off the bench is Austin Daye. The Bulldogs currently sit in 1st place in the WCC Standings.

The Connecticut Huskies are good for 80pts a game. They struggle at the 3-pointer but do well in the paint. The do however average 12offensive rebounds per game. On defense they are great at stopping their opponents in the paint and they give up an average 65PPG. The starting five for the Huskies is Jeff Adrien, Stanley Robinson, Hasheem Thabeet, Jerome Dyson and A.J. Price. The go to guy off the bench is Craig Austrie. The Huskies currently sit in 3rd place in the Big East Standings.

Bottom Line: The Bulldogs have a stronger offense and defense. Even though the Huskies are just as good they haven’t played caliber teams as the Bulldogs have
